Science has always held a certain allure over me that constantly tempts me to continue to explore, all in the search for new knowledge. I want to know why my body functions as it does; the movement, tension, expansion, retraction of our muscles that allows for movement, how the wonderful process of life begins from the single clump of cells into those strange little moving bundles of flesh and bones that will continue to grow, slowly evolving into yet another hyper intelligent being with infinite possibilities open to him. Science is a marvelous subject that expands into every aspect of life that aids us in our understanding of the ever expanding world and universe. . I have always been an analytical type of person, that being said, I have a knack (one could even go so far as to call it a habit) for noticing small details and remembering rather abstract information. I understand that merely memorizing information is not an impressive accomplishment in the least, but it serves as the catalyst from which new information can be derived. I understand that the search and possession of knowledge is one of mankind’s greatest missions, but I have always felt like I have a larger drive when it comes to the topic of discovering new things and seeing patterns within obscure items. This may all sound like the inconsistent ramblings of some child, but it is how I perceive myself when it comes to scientific study. The biggest impact it’s had on my life is the expansion of my own self-propelled curiosity, meaning, I generally create several questions, theories, and beliefs regarding anything of or relating to scientific inquiry. Many aspects of life and the world have yet to be discovered, while I cannot say I plan to devote my life to discovering them, I am willing to lend a helping hand that could open the door for younger generations to expand upon.
